Applications

SDLA718 proximate analyzer can be used to: 
(1) determine the moisture, volatile matter and ash content in coal, coke and solid bio mass fuel samples, and calculate the fixed carbon content and gross calorific value,
(2) analyze the carbon content in coal ash and ash cinder samples,
(3) determine the moisture, volatile matter and ash content in petroleum coke sample, and (4) analyze the loss on ignition of cement.

Continuous test for batch analysis
  • SDLA718 proximate analyzer adopts dual-furnace configuration, low-temperature furnace for moisture test,and high-temperature furnace for ash and volatile matter test.The high-temperature furnace tests next batch of samples when it has cooled down to 500℃ within 30min. And crucibles can be loaded while the cooling is proceeding.

  • Original weights of samples are weighed by xternal balance. The operator can pre-weigh the next batch of samples during the active analysis. And the operator doesn’t need to wait for cooling to conduct weighing. Crucibles can be introduced and removed at high temperature by the auto-sample loading device. The operator doesn’t need to wait for furnace cooling.

  • Moisture and ash can be tested simultaneously; test efficiency is 50% higher than ordinary proximate analyzers. The efficiency of one analyst operating one SDLA718 equals that of three analysts simultaneously operating two drying ovens and three muffle furnaces.


Ultra-low balance drift and high accuracy

  • The original sample weight is weighed at ambient balance by  external balance, and the sample residual is weighed by internalbalance which is installed under low-temperature furnace.The influence of balance drift is reduced to the lowest.

  • SDLA718 proximate analyzer imitates the working condition of drying oven and muffle furnace, and all types of coals can be tested accurately.


  • Patented technologies and stable performance

  • Sundy develops a clamping device for crucible and crucible lid. The crucibles and lids will not fall down during the test.

  • The imported guide rail introducing device ensures the stable moving of clamping device.

    Easy to operate

  • With CAN bus interface, several sets of SDLA718 proximate analyzer can be controlled by a single computer. And each analyzer works independently.

  • User-friendly Windows-based software provides flexible data management. Test results can be printed.And balance and network are connected by standard interface RS232.
